Qualifications
Any minor child from a family currently under 200% the poverty limit for their family size, or otherwise eligible for state financial assistance (including free or reduced-cost public school lunch), is eligible to participate in HeartReach.
Foster Children
Children experiencing foster support are automatically eligible to participate in HeartReach.
Attestation
Any school, social service or faith-based organization may certify a child as eligible for participation in HeartReach.
What happens next?
Once HeartReach receives the attestation and verifies the eligibility of the child, the sponsor will receive an email with all of the necessary materials to help the child submit an effective HeartReach drawing. All drawings will be submitted through postal mail to make sure none of the glorious details are lost. It's as simple as that!
